There are thousands of blinds who are sleeping empty stomach as they don’t have food to eat. These blind people are starving daily without food and don’t even have sources of income to buy Grocery which can help them to sustain themselves for a few weeks. “I am immensely grateful to the Blind Welfare Society for the tremendous support they have provided to the blind people like me. Every month, we receive free groceries, which has been a blessing for my wife, son, daughter and myself. Before this support, life was incredibly challenging for us. As the sole breadwinner of my family, I struggled to make ends meet. My job barely covered the rent and basic utilities, leaving little to no money for food. There were days when we had to skip meals, and my children would go to bed hungry. The stress and anxiety of not knowing how we would manage the next meal were overwhelming. It was a difficult time filled with uncertainty and hardship.” – Ajay Kumar. The Blind Welfare Society has truly been a beacon of hope for people with blindness. Our commitment to helping families like Ajay have made a world of difference. We have restored their dignity and given us hope for a better future.
Born with blindness, Dheeraj Bhola has faced numerus challenges in his life. “Growing up without sight was not easy, but it instilled in me a profound sense of empathy and a deep understanding of the struggles faced by people with blindness. I realized early on that we need more than just empathy; we need action. This is why I founded the Blind Welfare Society—to create a supportive network that provides essential resources and fosters a sense of community among people who are blind. One of our primary initiatives is providing free groceries to individuals with blindness. Access to basic necessities is a fundamental right, yet many in our community face significant barriers in obtaining them. By delivering groceries directly to those in need, we aim to alleviate some of the daily struggles and ensure that no one has to worry about their next meal.” – Dheeraj Bhola. This initiative has been a beacon of hope for many, bringing a sense of security and relief to numerous households.
