Free Groceries to Needy Blind in Need

The Blind Welfare Society is committed to improving the quality of life for visually impaired individuals. One of our key initiatives is the Free Groceries Distribution Project, aimed at ensuring that visually impaired people, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, have access to essential food supplies. This project has been a lifeline, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, where many visually impaired individuals lost their income sources.

Receiving free groceries from BWS was a blessing. As a visually impaired person who used to sing at bus stops for a living, the lockdown left me with no income. BWS's initiative helped me and many others survive these tough times. Thank you for your generosity."
